thrifty

adjective \ˈthrif-tē\

: managing or using money in a careful or wise way

I was a career woman with a professional career who found herself laid off from her job. I had to learn to cut expenditures fast, suppress my wants and save for my needs. It’s a nuance because living in the land of the plenty was very comfortable for me. I traded in my heels for gym shoes and have traded in my commuter pass to now becoming the bus stop chauffeur. I have an MBA in Management and now I’m using all that I know to   successfully manage my family on a single income. I find it rewarding and it reminds me of the waste and excess our society indulges in. As I  transition my life into living on less money words like budget, frugal, and economical have risen to the top of my list as far as finding quality and value for less the money.

Stay tuned to view my finds 🙂
